Farnborough Hall is a country house in Warwickshire, England near to the town of Banbury. Owned by the National Trust, but administered by the Holbech family; the house is a Grade I listed building. It is only open two afternoons a week in Spring and Summer – we managed to find a Saturday afternoon to have a look around.
Hinton Ampner is a National Trust country house estate with gardens and former civil parish, now in the parish of Bramdean and Hinton Ampner, in the Winchester district, in the county of Hampshire. We visited in Acorn on the way to Chingford from the Isle of Wight on 30th August 2024.
