Greys Court (National Trust)

This picturesque 16th-century mansion and tranquil gardens were home to the Brunner family until recent years. The house exudes a welcoming atmosphere with a well-stocked kitchen and homely living rooms.  The series of walled gardens is a colourful patchwork of interest set amid medieval ruins.

Nuffield Place (National Trust)

Lord Nuffield built the Morris Motor Company from the ground up. He became an incredibly successful and celebrated man, remaining humble and philanthropic throughout his life. Nuffield Place was his home for the last 30 years of his life.

The Eden Project

My second-, and Andrea’s first-, time at The Eden Project. The project is located in a reclaimed China clay pit. The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. We had a fantastic day exploring the site.
