Go With Oak

Lord Nuffield built the Morris Motor Company from the ground up. He became an incredibly successful and celebrated man, remaining humble and philanthropic throughout his life. Nuffield Place was his home for the last 30 years of his life.

My second-, and Andrea’s first-, time at The Eden Project. The project is located in a reclaimed China clay pit. The complex is dominated by two huge enclosures consisting of adjoining domes that house thousands of plant species, and each enclosure emulates a natural biome. We had a fantastic day exploring the site.

A family home and a great estate. Glorious landscape garden surrounded by parkland with fine 18th-century house. Visited on the way to Cornwall after stopping at Daisy Farm in Devon on the way down.
