The basic plan for journey #05 is to head off tomorrow (Sat 24th June) from Fenny Compton Marina down the Oxford Canal down past Banbury and see how far we get in 6 days!

Took a few moments this afternoon to give a quick guided tour of the boat.
We set off in Acorn to the Arctic Monkeys Concert at Coventry Arena – a fantastic show!
Lots of boats coming back up the Oxford Canal from Braunston as we headed down it today. But beautiful scenery and lots of wildlife spots – ducks, geese, moor hens & swans.
Hillmorton Locks today. Three sets of “double” locks allowing two boats to pass or go up the locks in tandem.
