Palin & Wade

First thing we went to a presentation by Sir Michael Palin about his new book “My Uncle Harry”… a fascinating talk about his relative – Henry William Bourne Palin who died in the battle of the Somme. Every audience member was given a signed copy of the book.

In the afternoon we visited the Cotswold village of Broadway and then went to Snowshill Manor – the property of the very eccentric Charles Paget Wade who used it to house his incredible collection of items from all over the world.
